“Imagine that today you woke up on Planet X, the planet of our dreams, the most beautiful world our hearts know is possible. What would your day be like?

- Davi Lemos

We know that a major challenge for companies in the post-pandemic world will be to engage in the communities in which they operate to contribute to environmental regeneration and the construction of a new economy, where sustainability and social justice are fundamental pillars!

It was with this concern that LiveLab, through its creator Edgard Gouveia Junior, conceived Jornada X Company, based on its 12-year experience with Jornada X: a community gymkhana that challenges teams to solve real challenges in their territories through the 4Fs : fast, free, fun and fantastic. This Universe begins with the idea that the transformations that the world needs are urgent (Fast), cannot depend on large resources (Free) and must occur with hope, joy and lightness, like children playing (Fun). If we unite these three factors, the results will be wonderful (Fantastic).

Jornada X Company's purpose is to contribute to business ecosystems, by transforming the look of scarcity into a more abundant and appreciative look at the communities around us and to spread a culture of participation and collaboration in local micro communities such as families, neighbors and schools.

In addition, the main objectives are:

• Strengthen ties between employees, reveal, recognize and integrate individual and collective talents present in the various sectors.

• Develop greater willingness to overcome challenges: understanding that collective actions have a much greater transformative potential than isolated personal efforts.

• Generate awareness and expansion of individual potential: openness to new challenges and learning new skills.

• Broadening a critical view of social reality and commitment to collective well-being: a more optimistic perception of human nature and altruistic actions.

To develop the points above, Journey X Company is based on:

• Playful, fun and engaging methodology.
• Gamification approach (fast, free, fun, fantastic).
• Encouraging volunteers' autonomy and creativity.
• Search for collective solutions to the problems faced.
• A sense of 'mystery' that piques everyone's curiosity.
• Development of co-responsibility (the success of the action depends on everyone's contribution).

Testimonials from recent achievements

“A piece of wood turned into a seesaw, a plant changed the whole garden, a tire made a swing. Nothing is impossible. If everyone gets together to do something, we can help each other, we don't need money”. Collaborator

“The breakdown of hierarchy during the Program helped reduce bureaucracy in relationships, which are hierarchical within the hospital. You understand how your opinion can help someone in a position above yours, someone you don't usually talk to on a daily basis. You create admiration for people of different ranks.”. Contributor

“The environment where the square is located today was a point of drug consumption. There was a huge transformation: now it is a living and leisure space, where children can play. Our neighborhood lacked that.”. Beneficiary

“It was really nice to see the way they related to us and our families. It was like they already knew us. Not only did they help renovate our homes, but they also played with the children and gave attention to those who needed it. The atmosphere was one of affection and love.” Beneficiary
